SHELLEY NEWMAN
Sheleatha “Shelley” Newman is a Morristown native, now residing in Powell. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from East Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Applied Social Justice from Carson-Newman University. She has over 20 years of event planning experience with her home church, nonprofit agencies, and previous employment. Shelley has always enjoyed crafts and opportunities to be creative. Shelley was bit by the planning bug when she started planning her own wedding in 2015. Because she enjoyed the process so much, she wants to help every Bride achieve a perfect wedding day just like hers!
Shelley serves as our primary planner. She creates the schedules and layouts for the all events.
ANDREW NEWMAN
Andrew Newman is not only husband of owner Shelley Newman but he is also the muscle and the brain behind the
business side of Spirited Occasions. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Tusculum University.
He is also an ordained minister, certified through the American Marriage Ministries.
He can legally perform elopements, traditional, nondenominational, inter-faith, and civil ceremonies.
CAMILLE WEBB
Camille is a student at Walters State Community College majoring in Marketing. She serves as an assistant to Shelley and Lead Hostess.
She plans to transfer to ETSU in 2025. She enjoys hanging with friends and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
JORDE' TEMPLIN
Jorde' is our in house hair and make up artist and Bride Liason. She is a licensed esthetician and works at a Medi Spa in Johnson City. Jorde' and her husband Steven have four boys and Sheepadoole named Canaan. She loves all things skincare, hair, nails, and make up. She enjoys glamming up our brides and serving as a hostess.
KAISEY OXENDINE
Kaisey is our Social Media Manager. She also serves as a decorator and hostess. She loves cooking, listen to music, spending
time with friends and family, being active at her church and her two pit bulls - Jada and Pac. She is married to her husband Dennis
and they share four daughters - three of them are also Team Members! She said she enjoys working with Spirited Occasions because
she loves weddings and getting to see people on one of their happiest days.
